Xavier Huguet lives in Barcelona and was a good journalist before his alcoholism. In his umpteenth attempt to rehabilitate, a journalist friend asks to tell day to day the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. A prestigious Professor has disappeared after traveling to Germany. Nothing serious, until the head of the professor is found near Xavier's daily stage.
